Sacrament Preparation

Religious Education Office  .......  Sacrament Preparation

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Preparation and celebration for this sacrament begin during the second grade. The family must be registered and contributing members of Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish, and their child must be enrolled in John Paul II School or in the QHR School of Religion. Since parents are the primary teachers of faith for their children and their role models, they should be participating in the sacraments and attending Mass regularly. Parents work side by side with their children and the religion teachers by attending workshops and parent meetings to ensure a better understanding of this sacrament for their children. First Reconciliation takes place in the Fall of the second grade year.
