Service to the Most Vulnerable in Our Community
On the first Saturday of each month, parishioners help the Sisters and Friars of the Poor of Jesus Christ Franciscan Sisters’ home in Kansas City, Kansas, feed the poor. Your help is very much appreciated!
STARTING AUGUST 2, 2025 DROP OFF TIME WILL BE FROM 8-8:45 AM, in the south parking lot.
We will be going back to collecting premade lunches in August. Please prepare and include 2 sandwiches, 1 bag of chips, a fruit (NO APPLES), a dessert and a bottle of water in each bag.
The Sisters have decided to bring back one Saturday a month to go back out on the streets and the picked the 1st Saturday of the month. We will be going to one stop from 10 a.m.-noon.
Volunteers are welcome; you must be 18 or older to go on the street and you must be Virtus trained. Please email us at QHRstreetministry@gmail.com with questions. Thank you for your continued support of the Street Ministry.
