Parish Blood Drive
Thank you to everyone who come out for our last blood drive on April 3rd. The Community Blood Center collected 50 units of blood. Those donations will potentially touch the lives of 100 people. The Blood Center requires 600 units of blood daily to meet the demands of the areas they serve. Thank you to the parish volunteers, custodial and administrative staff of both parishes and Father Bill and Father Ken for their support. Our next blood drive will be Monday, June 20, 2022 from 12pm until 6pm at Queen of the Holy Rosary. To register to donate, visit savealifenow.org/group and use group code HY or contact Andy O’Hara at 913-302-5525 or andrewaohara@me.com. Registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome. Come Join Us: The QHR Green Team will have its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 7 to 9 pm in the Parish Hall. We plan to continue to discuss our ideas and recommendations for improving our Parish's care of our common home and for each other, present conditions and needs of our Giving Grove as we head into the growing and harvest season, and Susan Saunders' Bags to Mats for the Most Vulnerable project. Other suggestions for topics to be considered are welcome as are any guests you may wish to invite.
