Learn to Crochet in the Craft Room
Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet, but wished you had someone to help you? Now is your chance! Join your fellow crafters in The Craft Room (Convent Room 4) on Thursday at 6 p.m. to learn the basics. If you have your own supplies, bring them along, or we will have some yarn and crochet hooks available. Children 8 years and up are welcome to attend and learn with an adult companion. Light refreshments will be provided. Crochet is an easy skill that you can use to create beautiful and useful items that help our ministries to the vulnerable in our community, from hats, gloves, and sleeping mats for people without shelter, to adorable baby items that could be given to mothers in need. This is a wonderful opportunity to live our mission and have fun while doing it! Space in The Craft Room is limited, and we need to plan for attendance. Blood Drive
Thank you to everyone who come out for our last blood drive on June 20. The Community Blood Center collected 38 units of blood. Those donations will potentially touch the lives of 76 people. The Blood Center requires 600 units of blood daily to meet the demands of the areas they serve. Thank you to the parish volunteers, custodial and administrative staff of both parishes and Father Bill, Father Ken, and Father Gerard for their support. Our next blood drive will be Monday, August 22, 2022 from 12pm until 6pm at Queen of the Holy Rosary.
